Local-First Architecture: All document analysis happens on your device by default. Files are never uploaded without your explicit consent.
Optional Cloud Services: When enabled, cloud features use encrypted connections. Only file hashes (not content) are shared for threat intelligence lookups unless full cloud analysis is explicitly requested.
Data Retention: Scan records are stored locally and automatically deleted based on your retention settings. No scan data is shared with third parties.
Anonymization: When enabled, all personally identifiable information is removed from logs and reports before any potential cloud transmission.
